TAEKWONDO is the national sport of Korea and the birthplace of the martial art that is now a designated Olympic sport. With the designation of 2010-2012 as ‘Visit Korea Year’, we are delighted to showcase our destination and sporting heritage through the following pages.

Korea is a place to come and recharge your energy using nature, tradition and belief in a society that has an ability to reinvent itself constantly. Korea is in the heart of north-east Asia and is the gateway to the Asia-Pacific region. Taekwondo is just one of many ways to feel and experience real Korea.
