Korea exhibiting at The Daily Telegraph ‘Cruise Show’ - Olympia 26th & 27th March, 2011

Korea Tourism Organization (Stand number: B36) will be exhibiting for the first time at the Daily Telegraph Cruise Show taking place on the 26th & 27th March 2011 at Olympia in London.

 

With a number of major ports and seas surrounding the country on three sides, Korea is fast emerging as Asias must-see destination for cruise travellers. Korea has an ideal natural environment for cruising and its 11 ports can offer tourists the opportunity to explore 11 different attractions. Specialist cruise tour operators and Korea Tourism Organization representatives will be on-hand to highlight Koreas ports and the excursions one must not miss!

 

To compliment your travels in Korea, 2010-2012 has been designated 'Visit Korea Year(s) and furthermore a host of mega events are taking place throughout 2011. The World Taekwondo Festival (May) will be followed by the IAAF World Athletics Championships (August) and another F1 race (October), not to mention a full calendar of festivals. All of which will bring greater visibility on the destination, especially since the Historic Villages of Hahoe & Yangdong became the 10th site to be inscribed onto the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listing.
