Geumgangsan Diamond Mountains tour packages now available to foreigners

Named Geumgangsan Diamond Mountains for its radiant diamond-like beauty, Geumgangsan is quite possibly the most spectacular mountain range located on the Korean Peninsula. Guemgangsan Diamond Mountains can be toured by land or sea and each type of tour takes place for 2 nights and 3 days. In the case of the land tour, a private bus is used for transportation. The bus passes directly through the DMZ into North Korean Territory. The tour includes hot spring baths, a tour of Geumgangsan Diamond Mountains, a ‘Gyoye’ (acrobatic show) performance by North Korean artists and various other events before returning to the south. The sea tour leaves from Sockcho Port on the Seolbongho cruise ship. The tour is otherwise identical to the land course.

Tour Jeju Island from a Helium Float

A new tour that provides aerial views of Jeju from a helium float has been introduced in Seogwipo, near the Cheonjiyeon Falls. The large helium float (22-metre long and 32-metre high) imported from France can accommodate up to 30 adults at once. A rest area, parking lot, grass park and platform are also available near the Cheonjiyeon Falls for the convenience of tourists. The float takes visitors 150-m high into the air and stays airborne for about 15 minutes. The entire Seogwipo coastline and Hallasan National Park can be enjoyed from the sky, making the helium float one of the most talked about tours of Jeju Island.
