Next PGA tour to take place on Jeju Island

An Official decision has been made for Jeju Island to host the next PGA Tour. A joint announcement was made by KNTO, PGA & BHT (Sports marketing Company) at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The event will be called the '2004 PGA Tour Korea Golf Championship', and it will take place between 22 - 28 November 2004. The Jungman Golf Club, Seogwipo on Jeju Island will have the honour of hosting the competition. This will be the first tour to take place in Asia and managed by a non-American PGA branch office. World Taekwondo Hwarang Festival opens in June

From June 18 - 24, the '2004 World Taekwondo Hwarang Festival', will take place in Chungcheongbuk-do. 30 nations will participate in the festival and display a variety of Taekwondo techniques and disciplines. Alongside the festival are a number of cultural incentives for visitors to enjoy a traditional folk culture experience.
