How to pass the time at Incheon Int. Airport

Ever spent hours waiting for your flight? At Incheon International Airport many arriving travellers are transiting onto Australia and New Zealand. Statistics reveal as many as 58% of travellers are just passing through and have an average of 4-hours to wait. The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization has put together a special half-day tour programme that allows tourists to go to the De-Militarised Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea. The tour includes a visit to Imjingak Pavillion, the 3rd Tunnel, Dora Observatory and the Bridge of Freedom where participants are encouraged to tie a ribbon of peace. The 5th World Junior Taekwondo Championships to be held in Korea.

After Spain, Turkey, Ireland and Greece, Korea will become the 5th country to hold the world junior Taekwondo Championships. The event is scheduled to take place in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do from June 12th - 18th, hosting an impressive 5,000 participants from over 80 different nations. There are 10 weight divisions - the championship will serve a unique opportunity for Korea to make its culture and traditions known, since it is the originating nation of the popular martial art form. Main events include, traditional folk performances, Taekwondo and martial arts demonstrations, a youth festival, a pop concert and start-studded variety show. Korail Pass and the new high-speed rail, KTX

Japan, France, Germany and Spain have high-speed train service. Now Korea has joined that elite group with the introduction of the KTX. The KTX travels at speeds of over 300km per hour and makes many regional cities in Korea accessible to tourists from all over the world.
