2004 Gwangju Biennale – into the enthusiasm of the festival!

Started in 1995, Gwangju Biennale will celebrate its 10-year anniversary for 65-days from September 11 to November 13. The theme will be a ‘grain of dust, a drop of water’, which symbolizes creation and extinction. For the first time, members of the public have been asked to participate in the Biennale. Traditional Cultural Experience for foreigners

Overseas visitors now have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of Korean cultural arts. A programme has been designed to allow visitors to participate in Samullori (traditional musical art) & Taekkyon (type of Taekwondo) and Kimichi making.
