KTC, Free Traveller Insurance for foreigners
Korea Travel Card (KTC) now allows you to travel with a greater sense of security. Developed for both Korean & Foreign travellers. KTC is a multi-purpose pre-paid electronic travel card that can be used at participating credit card stores and public and cultural facilities such as Gyeongbokgung Palace. Free travel insurance is provided for purchasers of the card and the insurance provides coverage of between £100 - £50,000 for cancellations, delays, baggage loss or late arrivals, disasters and various accidents. International travellers must either purchase foreign exchange with their card or your KTC card should be to the value of 200,000 won. Travellers must sign-up within 5-days of entry to Korea and it will become valid on application. For more information go to www.koreatravelcard.net
Free Screening of Korean Movie
Meet Korean movie stars and learn about Korean culture by watching Korean movies! The tourist information centre at the Korea national Tourism Organization in Seoul will be using their cinema style screens to show Korean movies on every third Saturday starting at 2.00pm. Korean movies that have been receiving rave reviews in Venice, Cannes & other world-famous film festivals.
