‘Untold Scandal’ Film Release
Soda Pictures presents a film by By E J – Yong entitled ‘Untold Scandal’ – a deliciously sexy Korean
adaptation of ‘Dangerous Liaisons’.
Based on the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Untold Scandal is set in aristocratic 18th Century Korea towards the end of the Chosun Dynasty. Lady Cho (Lee Mi-Soo), the vengeful wife of an important official sets a challenge for her sexually predatory cousin, Sir Cho-wan (Bae Yong-jun); she wants him to seduce the young virgin who is to become her husband’s concubine. If he succeeds Lady Cho will offer herself up as a prize, but if he fails he must live out his life as monk.
But Cho-wan’s ambitions are much greater and he has set his sights on Lady Sook, the most notoriously virtuous women in the land. With the stakes raised even higher the scene is set for scandalous games and conquests veiled behind custom and respectability of the day.
