On Sunday 17th June 2007 between 1200-1800, Trafalgar Square in London will be transformed into the sights, sounds and smells of Korea for one day only. London’s most famous landmark will play host to a celebration of Korean Arts and Culture.

Stalls selling authentic Korean Food will open at noon – starting an afternoon of festivities. In the ‘Kid’s Zone’, children will be able to try their hand at making traditional Korean fans. There will be a ‘Crafts Area’ where wood carvers will work on traditional Korean Totem posts to warn off bad spirits. There will be a full programme of traditional Korean music and dance performed by visiting artists from the Yeongsan Company of Traditional Arts. There will also be a contemporary twist when the Korean B-Boys champions, Rivers, meet the UK champions ‘Bad Taste Cru’. We hope to see you there!
