Throughout the television show’s four-day run, visitors will be encouraged to register on www.tour2korea.com - a free service that allows members to receive regular news updates, competitions and a host of other information relating to Korea. Entries will be put into a draw for a chance to win a variety of prizes that include two return flights to Korea, porcelain table clocks, Korean jewelry boxes and traditional Korean fans.

Our main focus at Destinations 2008 will be to highlight new developments in the Korea’s tourism sector. These exciting developments will include tours into North Korea, and details of a brand new chain of hotels called Benikea.com. To celebrate ‘2008 Visit Gwangju and Jeonnam Year’, Gwangju City and the Province of Jeonnam will be hosting some major events this year including the annual Kimchi Festival and 7th Gwangju Biennale.
