Korea to Sparkle again at WTM 2008

Stand AS3100 has GROWN! Korea has expanded the stand size by a further 20 square metres this year. Not only will this provide greater presence at the show, but allow more ground operators and partners to showcase their products and to encourage more visitors to our destination.

 

WTM will be a chance to further launch, solidify and promote our new global brand 'Korea, Sparkling', which is the first long term strategic brand adopted by Korea Tourism Organization. The new brand will be reflected on the dressing of our stand and more importantly provides a perfect platform to reach a wide variety of audiences who can emotionally connect with Korea through the brand.

 

Finnair has started a new direct service from Helsinki to Seoul in June of this year and WTM 2008 will be a chance for our new partners in Scandinavia to come and meet with Korean ground operators to further build partnerships and provide excellent product choice for the consumer. We are happy to announce that Finnair will be represented on our stand to further promote their quick connection to Asia.

 

Our successful online 'Training Manual' www.koreatraining.com has been running for nearly two years and has provided knowledge to over 200 registered agents. This year a fifth module was included onto the manual by Finnair to showcase the new direct routing from Helsinki to Seoul. We endeavour to create ambassadors for our destination across the country and the expansion of our training programme keeps it fresh and exciting for travel agents.
