Jeonju & Muju extends to everyone a warm welcome to the 2009 World Taekwondo Culture Expo. The event is anticipated to attract thousands of participants to the Jeonbuk province, which boasts stunning natural environments, varied cultural assets and friendly citizens.

The Expo is a chance for practitioners from around the globe to converge in the home of Taekwondo and share their cultures and practises amongst each other. They will also have the chance to understand more about Korean culture and traditions which will enhance their understanding of Korea’s national and Olympic designated sport.

Muju is the site of the World Taekwondo Park which is to be completed and opened by 2013. The Cultural Expo will be a chance to support this major new facility when it is unveiled and will be a chance to promote all the major facilities that the new park will offer.

The Expo is ready to amaze guests with an opening ceremony followed by a full programme of events to include Taekwondo performances and demos, technical seminars, competitions and cultural events to keep attendees captivated throughout.
