KOREA MEDICAL TOURISM SEMINAR

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila Office hosted the Korea Medical Tourism Seminar last November, 24, 2016 at the Korea-Philippines Friendship Hospital in Cavite. This event was held to further promote Korea Medical Tourism in the Philippines, as well as to strengthen the network between Filipino doctors, Korea medical hospitals, and other related medical agencies.

B2B Sessions were held just before the event participated by Daegu Medical Tourism Promotion Institute, Daegu Catholic University Medical Center (DCMC), Rakso Air Travel and Tours and Island Resort Club Tours.

The program commenced as KTO’s Director, Mr. Inshik Park said his welcome remarks. This was followed by a congratulatory speech from Dr. George Repique Jr., MD, Medical Director of Korea-Philippines Friendship Hospital. Among the presenters of the event were Ms. Hyejin Jang, Senior Assistant Manager of KTO who talked about Korea’s Excellence in Medical Tourism; Ms. Yoonjung Son, a representative from Daegu Medical Tourism Promotion Institute and; Mr. Seonghoon Park, professor at DCMC.

The crowd was entertained in between the presentations by the 2016 Pinoy K-Pop Star: Dance Category Winner, EXOTIX as they move to popular Korean songs such as Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang, Gentlemen by Psy, etc.

 

To cap of the afternoon, a raffle draw of special Korea items, Lock&Lock and Face Shop products were given away by KTO and guests from Daegu City.
