Experience Korea’s Autumn and Winter Seasons at the Travel Madness Expo 2017

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) exhibited Korea’s diverse products in this year’s Travel Madness Expo (TME). TME was organized by Travel Innovators and was held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, from July 6 to 9, 2017. The autumn and winter themed Korea Tourism Pavilion was located at booths 61 - 64 and complemented the booths of PyeongChang2018, Gyeongsangbuk-do Tourism Corporation (GTC), Incheon Tourism Organization (ITO), Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Jeju Air.

Visitors were able to experience and enjoy the fall foliage in the drama-like atmosphere as well as the cold but unforgettable winter getaway. Aside from Seoul, there were several travel packages to other Korean destinations like Busan, Incheon, Jeju Island, Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gangwon that can be purchased during the event. KTO’s partner travel agencies offered special "hallyu", premium, medical, free-and-easy, and autumn/winter-themed tour packages at a discount. At the pavilion, KTO gave away souvenir items to those who booked and purchased plane tickets and tour packages on-the-spot. Visitors also joined the "Imagine your Korea Stamp Tour" wherein they collected stamps from participating regional tourism organizations and completed special tasks from the Ice Hockey Event and PyeongChang 2018 Photo Zones to get a special gift from KTO.

Visitors had a chance to watch live musical and dance numbers at the main event stage with Star Magic Artists’ Yohan Hwang and Kristel Fulgar performed their renditions of popular Korean songs. KTO presented about Korean visa guidelines, while GTC, ITO, and Gangwon Province showcased their new and popular destinations.
