KOREA WINTER TRAVEL FAIR
September 16~17, 2017 | Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive, Makati



A two-day grand travel fair entitled: Korea Winter Travel Fair 2017: Let's go to Gangwon! was organized by KTO Manila and Gangwon Provincial Government last September 16~17 at Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive.





The event showcased the best of Korea's winter season and highlighted Gangwon Province's hosting of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang.

Delegation from tourist areas in Gangwon Province - Sokcho City and Nami Island, as well as Korean Ski Resorts - Daemyung, YongPyong and Alpensia, participated and set-up information booths. There were also five (5) event zones wherein visitors experienced fun activities that stimulate the winter season, such as: Hallyu Photo Zone, Ice Hockey Activity Zone, Hello! PyeongChang Game Zone, Winter Snowboard Photo Zone and Ski Jump VR Experience Zone. These event zones and information booths are all part of the Stamp Tour enjoyed by visitors.





Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Jeju Air, and Philippine Airlines released special fares for on-site visitors purchasing tickets to Korea. There were also several partner travel agencies who offered travel packages to Gangwon and other Korean destinations. Visitors who purchased on-the-spot from any airline or travel agency were given special gifts.

Visitors also witnessed live musical and dance performances at the activity center's central stage. Aside from Fireman, honorary ambassadors Ryan Bang and Sue Ramirez, Yohan Hwang and Kristel Fulgar also performed live renditions of popular Korean songs. Special segments about Korean food, cosmetics and make-up completed the two-day program.
