FILMING IN KOREA 2018

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila office organized Filming in Korea last May 9, 2018 at Shangri-La at the Fort Hotel. The event aims to promote Korea as the ideal location for shooting films and/or dramas through the support of local producers and directors.

The short B2B session was followed by the seminar composed of presentations from KTO Manila, Busan Film Commission, Jeju Culture Contents Agency and Film Line (production company). Each discussed a brief introduction on filming in Korea, previous films and dramas shot in the country, and the possible incentive support that each organization may provide.





Among the participants of the event were representatives from ABS-CBN Star Cinema and TV Production, GMA Network and Public Affairs, Viva Communications, Inc., TV5 D5 Studio, APT Entertainment, Black Maria Pictures, Digital Dreams, Inc., Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Gitana Film Productions, Seabiscuit Films, Solar Pictures, The A List (TAL) Productions, and other directors, producers and members of the media.
