Experience Korea’s autumn and winter seasons at Travel Madness Expo 2018
Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) exhibited Korea’s diverse products in this year’s Travel Madness Expo (TME). TME was held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, from July 5 to 8, 2018. The Korea Tourism Pavilion located at booths 55 – 61 (near Hall 3 entrance door) complemented the booths of Jeollabuk-do Province, Incheon Tourism Organization (ITO), Grevin Museum, Asiana Airlines, and Jeju Air.
Visitors were able to experience and enjoy the fall foliage in the drama-like atmosphere as well as the cold but unforgettable winter getaway. Aside from Seoul, there were several travel packages to other Korean destinations like Jeollabuk-do, Incheon, Gyeonggi-do, Busan, Jeju Island, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gangwon that can be purchased during the event. KTO’s partner travel agencies offered special premium, medical, free-and-easy, and autumn/winter-themed tour packages at a discount. At the pavilion, KTO gave away souvenir items to those who booked and purchased plane tickets and tour packages on-the-spot. Visitors were also able to join the “Imagine your Korea Stamp Tour” and got a special gift from KTO by collecting stamps from participating regional tourism organizations in the pavilion. There were also souvenir items and collectibles from the booths of Grevin museum, Visit Korea For Me, and Winter Photo Zone.
Visitors also had a chance to watch live musical and dance numbers at the main event stage as artists, Jinho Bae and Jeankiley performed their renditions of popular Korean and OPM songs. Korean K-Pop Trio, BNF also performed live on stage. Presentations about the updated Korean Visa Guidelines, Jeollabuk-do Province, ITO, and Grevin Museum were also given at the center stage.
