After much anticipation, NBC’s new TV program, Better Late Than Never has finally premiered on August 23. If the format looks familiar, you are not mistaken. The TV show is an adaption of the popular South Korean television program Grandpas Over Flowers  or 꽃보다 할배. Instead of the original Korean cast, viewers can watch Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman explore six cities in Asia with their young sidekick/comedian Jeff Dye. The four “grandpas” travel around Asia in four episodes in four different regions: Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Thailand.

Korea will take center stage in the third episode.  K-pop fans won’t be disappointed by watching the men learn some dance moves from the K-Pop sensation, Girls Generation.  After shooting a music video with the girls, the five adventurers hit the sack in a local Korean spa where they learn that they will be heading out the next day to the DMZ, one of the most fortified places on Earth. The guys then finish their adventures off by eating live octopus and partying at a popular night club in Gangnam.

Make sure to tune in to NBC on Tuesday, September 6 (10 PM/9 PM CST) to watch the “grandpas” take over Korea!
