Korail Pass Is Now Easier To Find

(Fort Lee, NJ) - Korea’s national railroad system, the Korea Rail System (Korail) has recently introduced a more convenient way to purchase the popular KR Pass, which allows visitors to travel on an unlimited basis throughout the country. Formerly available only at Korean train stations, or from a limited number of agents in the United States, visitors now have the convenience of purchasing their rail pass in the comfort of their own home, via the internet.

KR passes are available in various time denominations and are priced accordingly. Princes range from $42 for a three-day, adult pass, to $64 for a 5-day pass, $80 for a 7-day pass and $93 for a 10-day pass. The passes must be used over consecutive days and are not transferable. Pass users may also take advantage of a number of other services and discounts, including a 10% discount on car rentals at participating agencies, up to 30% discounts at participating hotels, a 20% discount on meals in the dining car, as well as at the Seoul, Dongdaegu and Busan station Grill, a 20% discount on a Seoul City Tour, Han River Cruises, Korean Folk Village Admissions and day passes to Lotte World; as well as a 15% discount to the Seoul Tower Observation Deck and admission to the Everland Theme Park.
