(Fort Lee, NJ) - A travel program accompanied by actual North Korean defectors for foreign tourists has been earning quick popularity with its in-depth look at the realities of the communist North Korean nation. The one-day tour visits the 3rd Tunnel, Dorasan Station, and the Odusan Reunification Observatory. Tours are led by knowledgeable guides selected from the many North Korean defectors who have put their lives on the line in order to escape oppressive and decrepit living conditions. These unique guides are truly the best companions for such a tour.

The Third Tunnel, one of the main sites on the tour, was discovered 44 kilometers north of Seoul in 1978. It is 240 feet underground and partially constructed as a means of invasion by the North Korean military. Dorasan Station is situated on the border of North and South Korea; when relations between North and South improve it is expected to serve as an important connecting point.

Tours leave at 9 AM daily except Monday and national holidays from the Lotte Hotel in Seoul. The 70,000 won price includes lunch.
