Jeju Island, Korea’s romantic resort destination, located 60 miles off the southern coast of the Korean peninsula has recently introduced a new type of tour of the area, by helium balloon. These large helium floats, which measure 72 feet long by 105 feet wide, can hold up to 30 adults. The floats departs Seogwipo city, which is located near Jejudo’s popular and scenic Cheonjeyeon waterfalls.

The 15-minute float takes visitors nearly 500–feet into the air and provides spectacular views of the Seogwipo coastline and Hallasan National Park, making it one of the most popular tours on Jejudo Island.

Jejudo Island has become a recognized name in the travel industry, as it will serve as the host city the Pacific Asia Travel Association International Conference in April 2004.
