The Korean Adoptee Gathering, the first adoptee conference of this scale ever to be held in Korea is set for August 4-8, 2004. International Korean adoptees from the United States, Europe, Canada and Australia will meet at the Sofitel Ambassador Hotel in the center of Seoul. The Gathering provides participants with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with other Korean adoptees from all around the world. The Gathering program includes presentations and workshops by adoptees, special guests, art exhibitions and performances. Numerous cultural activities include such programs as Korean pop concerts, fitting for traditional Korean clothing, performances at the Korean National theater, artistic open-mic performances, and a VIP dinner and performance at the Kwamunsa Buddhist Temple.
