In Korea, there are many healthy and delicious cuisines. However, there appears to have been a lot of confusion on the exact spelling and translation from the Korean language to English. This was especially a problem for foreign travelers who visited Korea. This also seems to be a problem in the Koreatown restaurants. For that reason, the Korea National Tourism Organization published a Korean food dictionary in the hope to solve any more misinterpretations. No more lost in translationl!

On February 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Korea National Tourism Organization will meet with the Los Angeles Korean American Restaurant Association to deliver the Korean food dictionary. This will now be available upon request for restaurant owners. For further inquires on how to obtain a copy of the food dictionary please contact the Los Angeles Korean American Restaurant Association at (213)820-8055 or the Korea National Tourism Organization Los Angeles Office at (323)634-0280.
