SUCCESSFUL PATA FAM TRIP RETURNS TO NY
(Ft. Lee New Jersey) – April 12, 2005 SUCCESSFUL PATA FAM TRIP RETURNS TO NY
On April 11 twelve PATA members came back from an action filled FAM trip to Korea sponsored by the KNTO NY office. The group composed of various travel agents and tour operators landed in Seoul on Tuesday the 5th to start a journey that would leave them with priceless memories.
While in Seoul the group stayed at the prestigious Sofitel Ambassador Hotel for a two night stay. The location gave our FAM trip participants the chance to take advantage of the shopping district in the city. While here our travelers visited the Gyeongbok Palace, the Folklore Museum, Changdeok Palace and the Insadong Antique Alley. Furthermore, the travelers had a chance to take a cooking class to learn the secrets of preparing the famous Kimchi.
The following days they were able to attend the PATA mini-travel mart in Daejeon where an invaluable chance was given to network and learn everything one needed to know about Korea and Korean travel and tourism.
Other cities that were visited included history-rich Gyeongju, with stop over at the Mt. Gaya National Park, where they saw the Haeinsa Temple, among other many beautiful sites.
We at KNTO NY are very happy that the FAM trip went as well as it did, and we’re glad to have our participants back, now with a new fire to promote that which they have seen and experienced in first person, a wonderful and unforgettable Korea.
