Daecheon Beach boasting the longest coastline on Korea’s West Coast holds an annual mud festival from July 16 to July 22.

The black-colored mud is abundant along the clean and pure beach. It is rich in minerals that contain germanium. This mud is well-known for protecting the skin and curing skin diseases.

The Boryeong Mud Festival will offer visitors exciting events and opportunities for receiving packs and massages with pure, well-refined sea mud. The festival is sure to provide fantastic experiences for fun and relaxation for this summer's vacationers.

There will be various programs and related events for visitors like a grand mud bathtub, mud wrestling contest, mud sliding, mud prison, human mannequin, character doll and mud balloons to mention a few!
