From October 6 to 14, 2005, some 200 films from 60 nations and 4,000 film-industry guests from 40 countries will gather in the international port city, Busan, for the Pusan International Film Festival.

The Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) has established itself as the world's most energetic film festival and celebrates its new editions this year, loaded with fresh and diversified programs.

With brand new, state-of-the-art screening venues in Nampo-dong and Haeundae, this year's PIFF will once again serve as a host to the year's best film selections from around the world, from the works of master directors to challenging, cutting-edge films by up-and-coming cineastes. PIFF will be a forum for the future of Asian culture, as it presents the new visions of Asian cinema by putting its main emphasis on discovering new Asian films and talented filmmakers.

To mark the 10th year and celebrate its success, the festival plans to hold many interesting programs and events for visitors. This is an event that should not be missed!
