USTOA & KNTO NY HOST THE SECOND ANNUAL R.O.K IN THE BOAT EVENT

(Ft. Lee, NJ) June 22, 2005 This past Friday June 17th, USTOA and KNTO NY hosted its second annual R.O.K in the Boat, a fishing outing that brought aboard Captain Nick Caruso’s ship, the ‘Ol Salty II’, several guests from the travel media, trade and Korean suppliers, to spend an afternoon on the water, relaxing, fishing, and networking.

The weather helped much to have an enjoyable afternoon with a cool breeze, sunny blue skies, and pleasant temperatures. The participants took home plenty of blue fish and even a 37 inch 15 lb sea stripe bass.

Among the many attendees, we must mention Bob Whitley, CEO of USTOA and KNTO NY’s Director Young Gyu Park, whom together opened up the event and graciously hosted the 5 hour fishing trip.

Representatives of Korean Air, Lotte Hotel, and the Korean Cultural Service also honored us with their presence, Korean Air, Lotte Hotel, along with Asiana Airlines and the Shilla Hotel, were generous sponsors of the prizes given out that afternoon.
