The modified hanbok retains the aesthetic values of the traditional costume
while making it more convenient to wear for the modern day. Things to
consider when making a hanbok purchase are the color, fabric, and design.
○ This is the 5th year of this 'International Hanbok Festival'. The event has
invited about 20 nation's Foreign ambassadors' ladies to Korea every year,
and made opportunities as special guests in this event having experiences to
wear hanbok and to feel Korean traditional culture. In addition to the
'International Hanbok Festival', 'Hanbok Model Contest' had been established
in need to find Korean unique model and to conserve and develop Korean
traditional clothing different from other countries'.
