- Develop the 1st Yangyang World Summer Taekwondo Festival "2005", as a
big summer festival for Taekwondo enthusiasts worldwide.
- Contribute greatly to the local economic development connected to

- Establish the status of Yangyang-gun county as the Center of Taekwondo.
○ Basic Aims
- Enhance the international image of the 1st Yangyang World Summer
Taekwondo Festival "2005" for the first time in Korea.
- To place the aspect of suzerain state by embodies the highest level of
the 1st Yangyang World Summer Taekwondo Festival "2005".
- To have the place of harmony and friendship shared by Taekwondo family
members of the global village.
- To spread the culture and hospitality of Yangyang-gun County through
voluntary participation of inhabitants to the Festival.
