Korea Tourism is pleased to announce a special, limited time exhibition.Running from Nov.21 - Dec. 13, this unique exhibition of miniature royal figurines of the Joseon Dynasty will be on display at the Tourism Information Center (TIC)on the underground level of Korea Tourism's Head Office located in front of the newly renovated Cheonggyecheon stream. The 150 piece ensemble is the collective work of Baehwa Women's College class of 1996 and features two well known scenes taken from period pictures. The first, "Geunjeongjeon Jinhado" is on New Year's Day in the royal audience chamber with the Crown Prince and cabinet members paying their respects to the King. The second, "Mangeongjeon Naejinchando" is a vivid display of the brilliant royal celebration of the Queen Mother's 80th Birthday.
The exhibition offers a colorful glimpse into the customs and traditions of the Joseon's Royal family for both overseas and Korean visitors to our TIC.
