On July 11th, the tradition of Korea Day at Shea Stadium continued during the Mets v. Rockies professional baseball game.  It marked the last Korea Day to be hosted at Shea since the stadium is set to close at the end of this year's regular season.  The Korean Cultural Service provided performances of both Jump, a popular non-verbal performance, and traditional drum dance, while the AT Center provided Korean food to baseball fans entering the stadium.  Members of the KTO office in New York handed out brochures and souvenirs to promote knowledge and travel to Korea.

Just before the start of the game, the 30 second Korea Sparkling commercial was played on stadium jumbotrons.  Korea Day once again proved not only successful for the fans but also to the Mets who went on to defeat the Rockies 2 - 1.
