The
De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) was created at the beginning of the Korean War 60
years ago. The 249km (155 mile) cease-fire line from the East
Sea to the Yellow
Sea, symbolizes both war and peace. This live of division also
provides opportunities for unification in the form of two special events that
bring a diverse range of people together during the DMZ summer rock festival
and DMZ Documentary film festival
