Jeju needs your vote as a ‘New 7 Wonders’ finalist!

Jeju Island is one of the finalists bidding to become one of the ‘New 7 Wonders’ of the natural world. The Volcanic Island & Lava Tubes - Korea’s first natural site became an UNESCO World Natural Heritage in June 2007, covering three sites Geomunoreum, regarded as one of the finest lava tube system of caves; the fortress-like Seongsan Ilchulbong crater and Mt. Hallasan.

 

Jeju is the largest island off Korea, with a surface area of 1,846 sq km. A central feature of Jeju is Hallasan, the tallest mountain in South Korea and a dormant volcano, which rises 1,950 m above sea level. 360 satellite volcanoes are around the main volcano.

 

So how can you vote? Visit www.new7wonders.com or ring 0044-75890-01290 and you will be asked to type in a four digit number referring to Jeju which is 7715.
