The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) will be exhibiting in Manchester for the 2011 British Taekwondo Control Board (BTCB) National Championships. This annual event will take place over the weekend of 18th & 19th June 2011 at the Manchester Velodrome in Sportcity, East Manchester.

With the British medal successes in Korea at the ‘World Taekwondo Championships’ in May and London 2012 just around the corner, the martial art of Taekwondo is growing in popularity. KTO will be in Manchester to further strengthen our relationship with UK Sport Taekwondo, the elite performance arm of the BTCB and to showcase ‘Korea as the home of Taekwondo’. We are expecting an explosion of Taekwondo groups, individuals and fans to visit Korea after the Olympics in London and even more so when a huge Taekwondo Park opens in 2013 located in Muju (central region of Korea).
