As the London 2012 Summer Olympiad drew to a close, so did the two-week 'K-Pop entertainment workshop' held within the elegant surroundings of 'Chelsea's Old Town Hall'. The UK's most fervent K-Pop fans came to test their vocal and dance skills in front of a selection of K-Pop Judges.

The expert judging panel have trained some of the biggest names in Korea's thriving K-Pop industry. They were moved to say that the quality, commitment and passion shown by the contestants was amazing and of a similar standard to Korean K-Pop enthusiasts!

The eventual competition winners were Rebecca Strachan for her consistent high quality renditions of many K-Pop classics and Jasmine Fox who choreographed a contemporary dance programme that impressed the judges. The winners will now be rewarded with a trip to Korea whilst every entrant was applauded for their hard work and love of K-Pop.

A welcome comment from the organizers of the event was the possibility to make this an annual K-Pop competition giving the chance to win more trips to Korea and learn more about the K-Pop phenomenon!
