BA recently announced that their summer 2014 schedule, which
starts from March 30, 2014, will see the airline increase their London Heathrow
to Seoul Incheon route from six services a week to daily.
This expansion reflects the continued interest of Korea as a
cultural tourist destination with numerous UNESCO world heritages and a place
to revitalize your health and well-being. It is also a destination that is
flourishing as one of the premier meetings and conference hubs, a trendsetting
nation for arts and entertainment and as a country hosting the world’s major
sporting events.
Korea Tourism Organisation PR Manager Ramy
Salameh said: “We are delighted that BA will provide even more flight options
for business and leisure travellers going to Korea by expanding their service. We
are also seeing rapid growth in the popularity of Korea as a holiday
destination, and this additional service will help to bring more tourists into
the country.”
