The Korea Tourism Organisation will be exhibiting at the Destinations London Holiday & Travel Show (Earls Court) between 6 and 9 February 2014 on stand AP160; we are delighted to be joined by three tour operators who all specialize in holidays to Korea; Emerald Travel, Holiday Planners & Sarah Korea.

Visitor figures from the UK to Korea saw nearly a 12% increase in 2013 over 2012 as our destination gets ever more popular. This year will be no exception with a diary of mega-events from annual festivals such as the Andong Mask Dance Festival and Boryeong Mud Festival to the opening of a new Taekwondo Park in April, which will officially become the ‘Home of World Taekwondo’.

South Korea is one of Asia’s emerging holiday gems, boasting a diverse and spectacular landscape and 5000 years of tradition & culture. As a fully-inclusive-tour, stopover destination and all-year-round holiday option, Korea has something for everyone throughout the

peninsula. Why not use Korea as a place to recharge your batteries and get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Cultural activities can include staying within ancient temples to practise meditation and learn about Buddhism, or indeed visiting dynastic palaces, unwinding in idyllic mountain or beach locations or shopping till you drop in Seoul.

Korea is a place full of positive ‘energies’ that will make you feel invigorated. Holistic practises are part of everyday life, such as, massage, acupuncture and the Korean sauna known as ‘Jjimjilbang’. Did you know that Korea has 20 National Parks offering all types of terrain and routes for hikers and 13 ski resorts to suit all standards of winter sports enthusiast and looking forward to the Winter Olympics, Pyeongchang 2018. There are also1700 km of bike trails with many running alongside Korea's four main rivers and many options to visit some major Korean ports by cruise boat.

Why not visit our website www.gokorea.co.uk and then come and talk with the Korea Tourism Org staff onsite who will hopefully inspire you to visit Korea with their expertise, knowledge and passion for the destination.

We welcome you to come and discover a diverse landscape of mountains, hidden temples and adventure filled activities. So come and visit us on stand AP160
