LONDON 4 June, 2015 - The organizers* of “The London Korean Festival at Trafalgar Square – Imagine your Korea” supported by the Mayor of London, invite everyone to the biggest FREE Korean cultural party ever hosted in the UK. The event will celebrate the vibrancy of this Asian powerhouse and the strong ties between Korea and the UK.  
 

The FREE one-day festival, under the gaze of Admiral Lord Nelson’s statue, features main stage performances from a whole host of genres and artists that include K-Pop bands, Break-dance world champions, traditional music performances, Korean street food stalls and a demonstration of  Korean cookery from celebrity chef ‘Judy Joo’.  
 

The square will be transformed into themed areas, which will include a ‘Tourism Experience Zone’ where visitors can get creative by making a traditional Korean fan or have their name written in Hangul by a calligrapher. A ‘Food Zone’ featuring London based Korean restaurants and vendors will showcase why Korean food is one of the tastiest, trendiest and healthiest cuisines in the world. The ‘Contents Zone’ features gaming and animation, whilst the ‘Brand Zone’ will introduce the ambassadors of Korean manufacturing and technology in the form of Hyundai Motors and LG Electronics.
