The London office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is to attend the upcoming Holiday World Show in Dublin, Ireland from the 24th to 26th of January. This marks KTO’s first time at the show in several years as it seeks to capitalise on growing global interest in Korea and capture the attention of the Irish travel market.

Holiday World Show is Ireland’s largest public exhibition, and its Dublin event attracted almost 40,000 visitors in 2019. Even greater numbers are expected to attend this year for the show’s 30th anniversary, where over 550 exhibitors and 1,000 travel experts will be on hand to help attendees find their perfect travel destination.

In addition to learning more about Korea, visitors to the KTO stand will be able to try their hand at learning Hangeul, the Korean alphabet, by creating personalised souvenirs. A DMC specialising in Korea will also be on stand to assist those interested in booking a trip, as well as any tour operators looking to expand their itineraries to Korea.

KTO London Director Sang Min Lee said, ‘We are excited to attend Holiday World Show Dublin and introduce Korea to members of the public, press, and travel trade. The Irish market holds great potential for Korea due to its propensity for overseas travel and increasing interest in long-haul destinations, particularly those in Asia. With a growing global interest in Korean culture spearheaded by K-pop and Korean cuisine, this is the perfect time to promote Korea in Ireland.’
