Cheongnamdae – A presidential villa unveiled

Cheongnamdae is a Presidential Villa, where the presidents and their families have stayed. What makes it special is that the villa has remained shrouded in secrecy and tight security from 1980 when it was first built. The Chengnamdae Villa could not be approached by any unauthorized persons. Nor was it found in any maps. Recently, the presidential villa has been unveiled to the public and tourists can tour the main building and leisure facilities.

The area of Cheongnamdae is as famous for its spectacular surroundings as it is for the house and facilities. Located among peaks of emerald mountaintops and nestled next to Daecheongho Lake. The sight is truly majestic and of unrivalled beauty.

Korea House Launches New Brochure

Korea House provides the perfect introduction to Seoul. The attraction, which has just launched a new brochure, offers Korean cuisine followed by an hour-long performance of traditional dance and music.

Korea House opened in 1957 with the aim of introducing the Korean lifestyle and culture to visitors. It has been built in traditional style with beautiful sloping tiled roof and features traditional wooden furniture, landscape paintings and handicraft items throughout its four buildings.

Korea House is open for lunch and dinner with performances at 7pm and 8.50pm. In addition to cultural performances like the fan dance, mask dance, dance of peace and court dance around a drum, it also holds traditional wedding ceremonies in the garden.


PiFan, the 7th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival

Attention all movie buffs! PiFan, the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, is celebrating its 7th Birthday this year, from July 10 –19. With romance, fantasy and adventure as the main themes, this year features 190 special films from 35 countries, each is playing twice.
