‘Ready to Float’ - Incheon Airport signs agreement for Maglev Line
Incheon International Airport is about to become Korea’s first test case for one of the most advanced transportation technology known to man, the magnetic levitation (Maglev) train, that will service the airport and routes circling the Yeongjong area.
Agreement for the construction of the test route was completed earlier in the year. Construction of the test routes for Korea’s first working magnetic transportation line began on August 9th 2007.
The IIAC intends to synchronize the maglev project with seven grand projects currently in progress, including the development of surrounding areas, grand opening of the second terminal and many more initiatives that will make Incheon International Airport one of the most prestigious brand names in aviation.
