Buddhist events at the KCC in
London? The event is part of a new exhibition at the KCC presenting the
beauty of Korean Buddhist Art through the work of Buddhist sculptor Park
Chan-soo. The exhibition “Buddha Speaks with a New Voice, who am I?’ will run
between 10th April and 29th May in conjunction with Mok-A Buddhist Museum from
Seoul. Major events taking place during the April and May include meeting the
artist Park Chan-soo, gallery craft workshops for children, a Korean tea
ceremony, Korean cinema to name but a few.

Lotus Lantern Festival - (May 14th Fri ~ May 16th Sun), Seoul Korea’s Buddhist
community will celebrate the birth of the Buddha with an extravagant, 11-day
festival of light called the Lotus Lantern Festival. Buddha’s birthday is
celebrated on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, which, this year falls
on May 21st.
