Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is the National Tourism Organization of the Republic of Korea, with offices located worldwide to promote and boost tourism to Korea, so as to make it one of the top destinations in the world.


The KTO Singapore Office is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individual for the following position:

 

Marketing Manager (minimum 3 years experience in Tourism fields is required)

 

Yearly based contract (including 2-months probation) | S$4,200~ S$4,500 (commensurate with experience), key responsibilities on the job include:

 

1)   Public Relations / Media

·         Offline and Online media management

·         Press Tour planning, execution, follow up and reporting

·         Track published PR articles generated by KTO

·         Manages media press releases, media enquiries etc

 

2)   Trade / Airlines

·         Trade and Airline partner management

·         Regular contact with product planners and marketing managers to explore new opportunities to promote Korea

·         Advertising subsidy campaign execution, reporting and documentation

·         Manages various trades releases, trade presentations etc

·         Invite, arrange and manage travel agents for FAM trips

·         Monthly report based on market research and analysis

 

3)   Advertising & Promotions

·         GIT event and special interest group travel execution and promotion

·         Offline, Online, Outdoor advertising planning, execution and reporting

·         Maintain constant update with various advertising mediums

 

4)   Business Development

·         GIT event and special interest group travel execution and promotion

·         Offline, Online, Outdoor advertising planning, execution and reporting

·         Maintain constant update with various advertising mediums

5)   Others

·         Ad-hoc tourism research work

·         Ad-hoc participation in events

·         Arrange ad-hoc business appointments between visitors from Korea to Singapore tourism bodies

·         Other ad-hoc duties (assigned by Director and Manager).

 

 

 Applicants should possess at least the following requirements:

 

1) Singaporean citizenship or PR

2) Diploma in tourism, event management or any related fields

3) At least 3 years experience in tourism field

4) Excellent written and spoken English language, good public speaker

5) Basic skill in conversational and written Korean would be an added advantage

6) Knowledge of tourism industry in Korea would be an added advantage

7) Able to commence employment in end December 2019 / January 2020

 

Recontract opportunities are available based on assessment after 1 year.
